I know the frustration of a "perfect" interview ruined by a bad internet connection. That's why I built Airtape.
My Journey to Airtape

Hi, I'm Hamed. I have loved building things for as long as I can remember. What still amazes me today is that you can start with an empty file and make something out of it that other people actually use.
"Wait... is that even an option?"
In early 2019 I watched a YouTube video that set a lot in motion for me. A creator talked about having taken six months to a year off to try out new things and follow his interests. I asked myself whether that was even possible.
In early 2020 I quit my job as a consultant. I have loved listening to podcasts for years and finally wanted to make one myself. With a good friend I got to work right away — first in the room with us, then, because of Corona, remotely.
While we were putting our setup together, none of the solutions for remote recording really appealed to me. So I built one myself.
That is how Airtape came to be.
